The growth involves infrastructural development that calls for modernized engineering surveying techniques, tools and software to assist decision making and policy formulations.  The traditional surveying techniques are currently lacking and cannot keep up with the escalating land development occasioned by population growth and urbanisation. The innovation of new Land and Engineering surveying techniques promise enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and comprehensive data collection, benefiting urban planning, infrastructure development, and environmental management. However, the adoption of new technologies comes with challenges such as infrastructural deficits, high costs, limited technical expertise, and outdated regulatory frameworks.

   GIS enables the creation of detailed maps, the analysis of land-use trends, and the modeling of geographic change. 2.       Remote Sensing:
